VINEYARDS
The stories about Šibenik's vineyards begin with the vines, which are a witness of time and patience, rooted in a deep history. Indigenous varieties of white wines such as Pošip, Debita, Grk, Maraština, and red varieties such as Tribidrag, Plavac, Babić, Crljenko, Plavina, Svrdlovina and Lasina, nurtured with love on 50 hours of sunny slopes combined with the Adriatic Sea, yield wines that are more than grape fruits. They are a reflection of the Mediterranean climate and the specificity of the soil, which gives them a pronounced character.
The wind that caresses these vineyards is not only a natural phenomenon, but a key actor in the creation of perfect grapes. Šibenik's climate, with mild winters and warm summers, provides ideal conditions for ripening the grapes that will later become the legendary Ego wine. Every sip of this wine carries the aromas of the Mediterranean and the taste of the sun that shines on these vineyards, depicting its uniqueness and character.

About how we are shaped by years of work and patience, just as our personalities are formed through the experiences we have gone through.
TERROIR
Jadrtovac, located above Šibenik, is an area with a rich viticultural tradition and specific terroir characteristics that make the wines from this region unique. The terroir of Jadrtovac includes a combination of climatic conditions, soil, topography and viticultural practices that together influence the characteristics of grapes and wine.
Mediterranean Climate:
Jadrtovac enjoys a Mediterranean climate. with mild, rainy winters and warm, dry summers. This area receives plenty of sunny hours a year, which is essential for optimal ripening of the grapes. High temperatures during the summer promote the concentration of sugar in the grapes, while the coolness of the night helps to preserve the acids, resulting in balanced wines.
Winds:
The area is influenced by local winds, including the mistral (summer breeze from the sea) which brings freshness and helps prevent vine diseases. Bura (cold northeast wind) can blow occasionally in winter, bringing dry air and reducing the risk of fungal diseases.
Soil characteristics:
Soils in Jadrtovac are mostly limestone and slate, with good drainage properties. The limestone soils are rich in minerals, which contributes to the minerality and complexity of the wine. These soils also retain moisture well during dry periods, allowing the vines to survive in dry conditions.
